What is the news regarding XFX RX 6900 XT MERC319?
XFX RX 6900 XT Specs
After the THICC series’ enormous success, XFX has disclosed its genuine successor, RX 6900 XT, a custom-designed graphics card that consists of tri-slot design and tri-fan and is being called the Speedster MERC 319.
XFX RX 6900 XT is undoubtedly a premium product that features a personalized design because the graphics card is based on AMD’s most recent NAVI 21 XTX GPU that has 5120 Stream Processors.
Although the RX-69XTACUD9 sport a boost-clock that reaches 2340 MHz, a game-clock of 2105 MHz, and a reference base-clock of 1925 MHz, it is lower than the RX6800XT Speedster MERC319’s 2360 MHz.
XFX has only disclosed the “primary” BIOS specifications, despite the graphics card having dual BIOS. The settings of the additional BIOS may either be XFX’s Rage Mode that is present on the RX6800XT Series or AMD reference.
The graphics card requires a minimum of 850W power supply because of two 8-pin power connectors in the said model, making it the sole premium RX 6900XT custom-designed graphics card that doesn’t contain three 8-pin connectors.
There aren’t any wholesale changes from the RX 6800 XT MERC 319. One can easily observe the existence of a USB Type-C connector in the RX 6900 XT.
The backplate contains several vent holes without completely covering the full area. The function of the present third fan is to push the air out of the uncovered heatsink. XFX has revealed two demo screens, which show that MERC is a short form of Mercury.
