AMD is ready to launch its new series of desktop processors. The code name of the new series processors is Vermeer and the architecture is Zen 3. We got a leak about benchmark scores of this Zen 3 based processor from a famous hardware leaker named APISAK.
The leaker shared the benchmarks of the new AMD Ryzen 7 5800X processor on twitter. He also shared the comparison with Intel’s powerful Core i9-10900K CPU.

Ryzen 7 5800X delivered 59.3 FPS compared to the Core i9-10900K’s 60.3 FPS in the average batch score. In CPU frames, 5800X scored 133.6 FPS and i9-10900K scored 114.8 FPS. Both processors were tested with GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card from Nvidia. The Intel processor was tested with 16GB RAM compared to 32GB of AMD.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X has eight cores and sixteen threads, but Intel Core i9-10900K has ten cores and twenty threads. So the performance of the 5800X is very impressive. AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors will be expected to perform better.
Vermeer processors will use the 7nm+ technology process. So it will improve the power efficiency of the processor.
For actual information, we have to wait for the launch of Vermeer CPUs.
We will publish more news on AMD Vermeer processors. Stay tuned for that. For any queries, leave comments below.
