Sapphire RX 6800 XT Nitro+ Triple Fan Graphics Card
On Twitter, SAPPHIRE Technology posted the Sapphire RX 6800 XT Nitro+ graphics card will come very soon. Nitro+ is the flagship graphics card series of Sapphire. At present, AMD had allowed the board partners to customized only the RX 6800 XT and RX 6800.
We don’t have any information about RX 6900 XT’s situation. All these RX 6000 series graphics cards may be using the same design PCB board. So upgrading this PCB board to RX 6900 XT will not a problem for board partners.
According to the Twitter post, The Sapphire RX 6800 XT Nitro+ graphics card will come in black color. There is a cooling solution with a triple-fan setup. The previous RX 5700 XT Nitro+ and RX Vega 64 Nitro+ have the same triple-fan cooling solution.
Custom RX 6800 XT graphics card models will be released at end of November 2020. These GPUs will not be released on 18th November 2020, which is the launch date of the reference models. Board partners will be launched their graphics cards a week later.
AMD RX 6800 XT’s Stream Processor count is 4608 and Ray Accelerator count is 72. This GPU also has 288 texture mapping units and 128 raster operations pipelines (ROPs). The memory of this card is GDDR6 type memory with 16GB of capacity.
The memory clock is 16 Gbps. This GPU also has an Infinity Cache of 128MB, which can boost the bandwidth of the memory to 512 GB/s or more. The price of the RX 6800 XT is $649. But we can expect the price of the Sapphire RX 6800 XT Nitro+ will more expensive.
