RDNA 2 Demo Video Is Available To Show latest AMD Technology

AMD RDNA 2 Demo Video

AMD recently released an RDNA 2 Demo Video on youtube. It is a 1080p video with a duration of 3:34 min, which shows AMD’s latest technology supported by the RX 6800 series GPUs.

The RDNA 2 Demo Video mostly focuses on ray tracing, mainly reflections and soft shadows. We also can see the technology named variable-rate shading and mesh shading used by DX12 Ultimate API.

The hardware-accelerated DXR (DirectX Ray Tracing) is now available in the new RDNA 2 graphics cards. In this video demo, it is clearly seen that the FidelityFX effects support ray tracing along with SSSR (Stochastic Screen Space Rfflrections).

When computing power is reducing for generating some scenes, the visual quality improves with the help of FidelityFX Denoiser.

To create more realistic proper shading geometry, FidelityFX Ambient Occlusion is used by AMD to enhance performance by enabling the Variable Shading Fidelity. But this demo video is unavailable for download.

This was a prerecorded video on an unreleased AMD RX 6900 XT graphics card equipped with a 12 core Ryzen 9 3900 processor.
