MSI Will Launch 400 SERIES (B450 & X470) MOTHERBOARDS Support For Ryzen 5000 Processors

MSI MOTHERBOARD’S LINE-UP OF 400 SERIES (B450 & X470) MOTHERBOARDS WILL SUPPORTED BY RYZEN 5000 SERIES CPUs.

AMD recently announced Ryzen 5000 series CPUs on 8th October 2020. The latest 5000 series CPUs have a great performance improvement than the previous 3000 series CPUs. MSI already released a BIOS update for all B550 and X570 series motherboard. It will support Ryzen 5000 series CPUs.

But due to huge upgrade demands, AMD has announced that the BIOS update for the 400 series chipset motherboards will be available from January 2021.

MSI also announced that the 400 series chipset MSI motherboards, including B450 and X470, MAX, and non MAX motherboards will get a new BIOS update for supporting the Ryzen 5000 processors. MSI’s R&D team already started the work for 400 series chipset motherboards BIOS update.

The detailed schedule of the BIOS release will be available after the release of the BIOS code by AMD. For more information, stay tuned with msi.com. Biostar also released BIOS update for AM4 400 series motherboards.

At present, the 300 series chipset motherboards, including A320, B350, and X370 chips, will not support Ryzen 5000 series processor according to AMD. If AMD will announce any update later, then MSI will publish the latest update on its official website.
