What is the news regarding NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series?
NVIDIA plans to conduct a press conference on January 12, the following day of CES 2021 commencement, about the forthcoming GeForce RTX gaming innovation. The organization is anticipated to discuss its mobile GeForce RTX 30 series for the impending Intel Comet Lake and Tiger Lake, and AMD Cezanne (Ryzen 5000) CPUs.
NVIDIA may uncover their GeForce RTX 3060 12GB at the conference, set to be available from January-end. The new GA106-based model is being touted to be a competitor to the AMD Radeon RX 6700 series, likely to appear one month from now or a CES 2021 where AMD has scheduled their conference.
NVIDIA RTX 30 Mobile Series graphics cards are to incorporate RTX 3060, RTX 3070, RTX 3080 models. The last two SKUs are to contain GA104 GPU, while the first one is accepted to include GA106 GPU, same for the PC variant.
For the moment, AMD Ryzen 5000H Series CPUs will be offered with NVIDIA’s high-quality GeForce RTX 3070/3080 graphics card. On the other side, Intel will offer RTX 30 Mobile graphics along with its Comet Lake-H Series at release and Tiger Lake-H35 Series (the quad-center models). The 11th Gen Tiger Lake-H with 8-cores won’t be making its first appearance in the 1st quarter of the new year.
NVIDIA is currently working on other GeForce RTX variants, for example, RTX 3080 Ti, presently set to be released in February. This is a brand-new 20GB model that would pose a competition to RX 6800 XT and Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics cards released in recent two weeks.
