The actual reason for the game crashing issue
EVGA said that the engineers found that the particular six capacitors are failed in the real world software testing. So the quality control is required for these new RTX 3080 cards. This particular kind of capacitor is called POSCAPS. After replacing the POSCAPS with the capacitors named MLCC, the problem was fixed.
That is the reason for the launching delay of RTX 3080 FTW3 graphics cards.
On many websites and forums, the users have reported the issue was mostly found in the overclocked version of the graphics card.
Manually underclocking the frequency seemed to solve the problem. Those graphics cards have POSCAP capacitors and the report of EVGA indicates that the issue appeared when they use POSCAPS in their graphics cards.
