AMD Announced 5 New Processors For Chromebooks – Get Ready Now !

AMD Just announces a lineup of new processor series for Chromebook, and two are already being used in Laptops, available to buy. Since 2017, Chromebook were not used by hardcore processionals due to lack of processing power and sub per operating system. But first Intel announced premium $700+ Laptop and now AMD is taking aggressive steps to take the market segment.

AMD New Processors For Chromebooks

They are introducing the Ryzen 3000-C and Athlon 3000-C series processors specially built for chromebooks. Although these are AMD New Processors For Chromebooks, but the spec signature has been found before in AMD powered laptops like Dell’s Inspiron 15 laptop and Acer’s Aspire 5, which use the same Ryzen 7 3700U CPU.

AMD announced 5 New CPUs for chromebook, Ryzen series 3 cpus are Ryzen 7 3700C, Ryzen 5 3500C, Ryzen 3 3250C. AMD Athlon Gold 3150C and AMD Athlon Silver 3050C are the two AMD New Processors For Chromebooks. These another addition to AMD Desktop Ryzen 5000

Series Processors, so AMD is launching offensive on all fronts.

All of these processors have 2-4 cores and 4-8 threads but they all have the lowest TDP possible in the commercial market – only 15W which will drastically bring down the power consumption of the Chromebooks and well as make them capable of handling moderate processing tasks.

The best of the AMD New Processors For Chromebooks are Ryzen 7 3700C which has 4 dedicated cores and 8 threads, with a whopping 4 GHz factory frequency. Now there are no words from AMD officials if these processors are overclock enabled but the future surely looks promising for Ryzen Power Chromebooks.
