Ryzen 9 5950X Overclock
A website named TweakTown published a report on Ryzen 9 5950X overclock world record. AMD recently launched Ryzen 5000 series desktop processors. Ryzen 9 5950X is the flagship processor of this Ryzen 5000 lineup.
A famous overclocker TSAIK has finally successfully overclocked the Ryzen 9 5950X processor. He has used a flagship motherboard named MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE. For overclocking, he used an LN2 (Liquid nitrogen) cooling system. The CPU hits a world record frequency of 6.35GHz.
6.35GHz clock speed was achieved by the ‘AMD Ryzen 9 5950X‘ 16 core processor with all cores and LN2 (Liquid nitrogen) cooling system. This is a big challenge for Intel. With this new world record, AMD will surely attract more customers from the Intel dominating CPU market.
Ryzen 9 5950X Specs
This is a 16 core with 32 thread desktop processor. It has a base clock of 3.4 GHz and a boost clock of 4.9 GHz. It based on the latest Zen 3 architecture. The 7nm technology process is used in this processor. The socket type of this CPU is AM4. It also has 72MB of L2+L3 cache.
This CPU has PCIe 4.0, the latest version of PCI Express. The default TDP of this processor is 105W and the CPU cooler (Thermal Solution) not available out of the box. This CPU supports DDR4 type Ram at a maximum frequency of 3200MHz.
